The Owlet - Documenting the Fauna of Ashoka University
Hi friends,
Greetings from Sonipat, Haryana!
It has been a little over a week since I moved back to college, and I must say that I am having a blast. I've taken some exciting sociology and environmental studies courses that push me to question concepts that I take for granted.
One project I have started is documenting all the fauna I encounter in and around Ashoka. I have decided to compile all my findings on my website. Stay tuned for updates!
I'm also working on another wildlife-related project that I am thinking of calling "Species in Focus - The Final Frontier". Here, I will be compiling my best work on certain animals that have most impacted me on my journey in exploring the natural world. Each species will have its fact file, personal essay, images, art and more! It is a lot of work, and I expect it'll take a couple of months to complete.
Until then, enjoy my favourite videos and articles of the week!

This is the largest elephant I have encountered in my life. While it might not look so big in the photograph, this beast was easily over 11 ft. It is rare to find such massive bulls in the wild.
What made this encounter even more thrilling was that as soon as we approached this animal, he turned at charged at us! And let me tell you, having a 5 ton beast bolting at you is quite scary!
