What an adventurous story it is Sir!!! My heart was beating fast with much curiosity, reading your entire story. Glad that you all are safe now and I'm eagerly waiting to experience the reading of your upcoming book Sir :)

Ishan, thank you for writing this epic tale! And also for this perspective: “Even in the rain, I was itching to move because the illusion of a goal was better than enduring the storm in my head.”

So often we get antsy and move when we’re uncomfortable. As Rick wrote in a recent piece, it’s often best to just sit and remain present.

I hope you get back to the mountains soon!

Harrowing story! I’ve worked through hurricanes before and those come with their own dangers but it’s nothing like just being out in the middle of nowhere. Every one of you showed some real fortitude out there, glad you made it out!
